Have you ever thought while going sumwhr, if in case u dnt get a car or bike at the time of leaving then its a havoc condition present thr.. no matter how many vehicles v buy but the indian transport z still very much dependent on Auto rickshaw & CYCLE RICKSHAWS. Every damn place of dis country z full of Rickshaw pullers. People were lil worried about the new version of MOTOR CYCLE RICKSHAW that has newly entered into market. Yesterday while i was returning from my work place i saw a MOTOR Cycle rickshaw puller he was surrounded with passengers but none of dem sat on it, I dnt knw d reasons behind dis might b posbl dat fare of Motor rickshaw b higher thn d older ones. And we indians r clever we never pay more for anything even if its worth of it.
So my basic idea behind dis all stats n research are y shdnt we use dis fasclty as a business.. I'm tlkng abt very old business might be posbl dat mny of us wont give a damn abt dis idea by thnkng its a lil low kinda thng but business minded pupl cn mk out money wid it n wid not much of investment....
go 4 Cycle Rickshaw industry, thrs a minimal investment if u have a place or land dat can b turned 2 a rickshaw garage...

Our govt are mkng many efforts thru mny official organisation where there is loan schemes for rickshaw pullers.. Majority of rickshaw pullers are poor migrants and lack the necessary funds to buy a rickshaw. “Currently, nearly 95 percent (approx) of the cycle rickshaw operators hire the rickshaw on a rental basis from fleet owners..
Go thru these STATS:
COST OF A RICKSHAW: 6500 - 8500 /- *
RENTING COST OF A RICKSHAW: 25-40 /- **
* The cost varies from cities to cities, like rickshaws in Delhi/NCR & UP are used 4 carrying less passengers and are more metallic than d rickshaws running in Jharkhand/Bihar as they are woody and meant for loading high weight.
** The daily rental from fleet owners or rickshaw's garage owners is based on condition of vehicle and the cities too... The daily Rental in Jharkhand & Bihar is btwn 25-30 Rs. Whereas the one running in Delhi and metros are around 25-40 Rs. In both the cases the avg rent in inclusive of the maintenance cost.
INCOME OF A RICKSHAW PULLER PER DAY IN SMALL CITIES: 150 Rs
INCOME OF A RICKSHAW PULLER PER DAY IN Delhi/NCR and other metros: 150-250 Rs
PROFIT MADE BY 1 RICKSHAW IN 1 DAY: 18-20 Rs.
PAY BACK PERIOD OF 1 RICKSHAW : for ex - lets tk d cost of rckshw b/w 6.5k to 8k, i.e 7k = 7000 Rs
- lets tk the profit b/w 18-20 Rs, i.e = 19 Rs.
Pay Back period will be: 7000/19 = 368 Days.
Based on these figures, the payback period of a rickshaw without calculating the interest is approximately 1 year. Besides this cost, another major cost head is that of licensing. As per the law, all cycle rickshaws should have licenses. Moreover, in some cities it is mandatory for even pullers to have licenses. For Delhi every puller should have rickshaw license n pulling license both.
For a fleet owner, the cycle rickshaw business is basically a size game, more the number of rickshaws more d profit u can think about. And i bet after you open your own garage u wont have to think about the rickshaw pullers u'll get them in mass.
